Eleven rare Siberian tigers have died in the last three months at Shenyang Forest Wild Animal Zoo, in northeast China’s Liaoning province. According to a BBC report, it is not clear how the animals died, but local wildlife protection official, Liu Xiaoqiang, reportedly cited malnutrition as one cause. The zoo is currently closed.
