Elite Resorts’ Managing Director Jim Smith said. “Elite is an early adopter to the non-transactional portal strategy in Asia Pacific and as such, we think we have a great start in supporting our key objective of redefining the way people look at luxury travel within this vast region. As a showcase site, this allows us the opportunity to creatively focus on the unique customer experiences that our outstanding partners offer and present them in a way that is personal and inviting.
The affluent customer is constantly redefining what luxury travel means to them and our site provides access to some very creative customer experiences in our Elite Experiences. We also believe that as we have 51 options in Settings/Style and Activities, we will even be provocative in helping people think about experiences and locations they haven’t thought of before.”
Mark also commented “Our team of young executives have combined and merged their new age capabilities with the experience and creativity of the senior team. This has produced a very new direction and the opportunity for individual or groups of luxury resorts from the Asia Pacific in varying genre to reach out intelligently and stylishly to the Luxury Travel consumer and their travel advisors. For Elite to have achieved this in the 7 months since our announcement, within an unparalleled Global Financial Crisis and as a start up with a great idea, is an amazing achievement and we are most proud of them.”
