Brazilian aircraft manufacturer, Embraer, has reported a 70% third-quarter fall in profits, the BBC has reported. The results for July-September show the company made just US$57.7 million, down from US$194.9 million for the same period in 2007. Embraer has said the fall is a result of a sharp decline of the Brazilian real against the dollar.
Embraer’s clients include Lufthansa, Air France-KLM and JAL.
