Emirates A380 welcomes over 8,000 visitors at BIAS 2016

The Emirates A380 welcomed nearly 8,000 visitors in two days at the Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) 2016.
The two-class configured version was on display and open to both trade visitors and general public.
The airline was the first to order the double-decker aircraft and over 50 million passengers have flown the Emirates A380 since it commenced operations in 2008. The A380 fleet has also flown over 56,000 round trips and has travelled over 750 m kilometres. Over 1,200 pilots and more than 17,000 Cabin Crew support Emirates A380 operations, flying to 37 destinations around the world.
The aircraft on display featured 58 seats in business class and 557 seats in economy class, as well as the OnBoard lounge. The airline currently has 72 A380s in service and has a further 68 on firm order.
