The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the UAE has reminded all citizens with travel plans to Europe to obtain their Schengen visas ahead of time, as reported by WAM.
Emiratis who are planning to travel, whether it is for medical treatments or leisure, should get their visa in advance to avoid potential hassles or problems at destination airports.
Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Ministry’s undersecretary, also reminded citizens to give special attention to visa requirements and emphasised that traveller’s first destination in Europe must be the country whose embassy in the UAE has issued the entry permit.
