Engine failure forces Vietnam flight to land

A Vietnam Airlines Boeing 777 aircraft had to turn back to Ho Chi Minh City’s (HCMC) Tan Son Nhat Airport shortly after take-off on Tuesday, suffering engine failure, Thanh Nien News reported. A Vietnam Airlines spokesperson said the captain decided to abort the flight, which was carrying 316 passengers and crew from HCMC to Hue.
