Etihad partners Masdar to reduce carbon footprint

As part of Abu Dhabi’s ongoing effortto find sustainability solutions, Etihad Airways has partnered Masdar, theemirate’s future energy initiative, and Etihad Airways, to cooperate across arange of activities to reduce the airline’s carbon footprint throughsustainable and energy efficient measures.
Under the agreement,Masdar, which is wholly owned by the Mubadala Development Company, will workwith Etihad to support the implementation of the airline’s environmental,management initiatives, in particular in relation to carbon and wastemanagement.
