Etihad targets 25 million passengers

Etihad Airways has set itself a target of carrying 25 million passengers a year to 100 destinations by 2020, Gulf News has reported.
In his speech during the 2nd Middle East Aviation Outlook Summit, Etihad’s CEO, James Hogan, was reported saying that the Abu Dhabi-based carrier was confident that the growth of Abu Dhabi as a regional hub would help the airline achieve its goals.
“Abu Dhabi being a hub as a transfer point gives us confidence… We are well positioned especially with ADAC’s (Abu Dhabi Airports Company’s) new Terminal 3 where we will be a serving a total of 43 extra destinations,” Gulf News quoted Hogan as saying.
