Eurostar will commence services between London and Geneva this Sunday with the launch of the new year-round services.
The daytime service will run four times per week and is offered in partnership with “TGV Lyria”, whereby Eurostar passengers will connect onto the high speed service at Lille. The services have been times to minimise connection times, and to keep total journey time from London to Geneva at just over six hours. Ticket sales for the new Swiss route are open and travellers can purchase fares from GBP116 return.
The new route is the latest addition to Eurostar’s growing list of destinations, with the launch of a new service to Lyon, Avignon and Marseille starting in May next year, followed by Amsterdam
in late 2016.
