Ex-Beatle to be honoured by Bangladesh

The late Beatles guitarist, George Harrison, may be honoured in Bangladesh for his role in the country’s war for independence, the BBC reported. Renowned pacifist Harrison, has been highlighted by a leading Bangladeshi lawyer for his ‘Concert for Bangladesh’, in New York in 1971, which raised money for war-affected people with performances by Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr, Billy Preston and Bob Dylan.
