Flight Centre Travel Group transacts in 11 European countries predominantly trading as Flight Centre, Corporate Traveler and FCM Travel Solution. Income from commercial airline agreements makes up around 2 thirds of all FCTG Europe Profit, therefore our Commercial Air Managers have a fundamental role in contributing towards the success of the company.
This critical role within the organisation is responsible for ensuring that Flight Centre Travel Group maximises its air income potential through negotiation, prioritisation and directional selling of airlines. Working within the Air Supply team you will have sole responsibility for a portfolio of airline commercial agreements. For these airlines you are the face of FCTG. You will be accountable for contracting with airlines, ensuring accurate forecasting, and tracking of the subsequent deals, as well as consultant and customer engagement to ensure our revenue is directed towards our preferred airlines.

Protecting, managing and developing our fare content

Financial Reporting and analysis
Capabilities:
Sales experience – Must be able to demonstrate a strong sales background
Strong analytical skills – Must be able to secure commercial deals that maximise the highest possible returns for Flight Centre UK Group
Must be able to show a high attention to detail
Must be able to show experience of negotiation
Must be able to represent the overall needs of FCTG to maximise Air distribution while still maintaining a co-operative commercial partnership
Must have a high understanding of business acumen in order to understand the complex air deals and be aware of the impact of accruals and debtors.
Excel knowledge
Qualifications/Experience:
Min 3 years experience in Flight Centre Travel Group or previous experience specifically in an Air Product or similar role – Essential
Location: New Malden
Start Date: 1st of May 2022
Salary: TBA based on experience
Hours: Full time (37.5 – Monday-Friday with WFH flexibility as per company policy)
