As a Corporate billback fulfilment team member you will be responsible for ensuring any failed billback transactions for any CT or FCM customer is resolved to allow smooth check-in and no payment issues.
These failures will take place in the format of either email failures from Conferma or emails and phone calls directly from hotels themselves. The role involves liaising directly with the hotel in question, trouble-shooting the issue and ensuring that the billing instructions issued by the consultant have been communicated to the hotel and well received. Actions can include: deploying new Conferma cards in the case of reservations being cancelled within the penalty period, dealing with hotel enquiries where the card has been declined and resolving the issue, completing payment links where necessary.
Each affected booking must also be run through the billback smartflow to provide detailed reporting which will allow the onshore billback team to work closely with Corporate Land, Conferma and the hotels to prevent further issues at these properties.
