Family flown 3,200km wrong way

An increasing number of families whose relativeswere killed in the last year’s Phuket air crash are suing airline One-Two-Go,the Bangkok Post has reported. The action comes following findings that neitherpilot Arief Mulyadi, nor his co-pilot, who were both killed, were in control ofthe plane when it came in to land. The families of Bethan Jones and AlexCollins, both of whom died in the crash, said; “We believe the air crash wascompletely avoidable and those responsible should be held to account.”
The One-Two-Go MD-82 aircraft crashed in badweather on 16 September 2007 at Phuket International Airport,leaving 89 dead and 41 injured.
