Malaysian low-cost carrier, Firefly, remains upbeat about securing flights to Singapore, Bernama reported, despite the fact that it has yet to secure the green light from the Ministry of Transport.
The carrier is reported to be keen on launching services to Singapore from eight regional Malaysian hubs, including Kuala Terengganu, Kuantan and Melaka.
“I think the liberalisation of the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore sector has been in place since last year. Many carriers have received the benefits and we do not see ourselves being left out,” Firefly’s Managing Director, Eddy Leong, was reported saying.
