Malaysian low-cost carrier, Firefly, has announced changes to its flight schedule from 10-28 March. Flights from Penang to Kuala Terengganu, Kota Bahru, Koh Samui and Kuantan will be suspended between these dates, the Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation has reported.
These changes are reportedly part the carrier’s planned network rationalization in view of the current economic environment and maintenance requirements on one of its aircraft.
Flights from Penang to Langkawi, Phuket, Medan and Banda Aceh meanwhile, have been retimed, as have some flights operating from Subang airport. Passengers are being notified of alternative flight arrangements.
