Flag carrier cuts fares again under tourism campaign

Thanhnien news reports that Vietnam Airlines has announced fare cuts for the second time this year under a national programme to stimulate domestic tourism that will last until the end of September.
Between June 1 and August 31, a round trip from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi and Vinh will cost VND1.4 million (US$78.8) and from HCMC to Hue and Da Nang, VND1 million .
.The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism said more than 100 travel agencies; hotels and transport operators have joined the “Impressive Vietnam” campaign to cut prices on 99 tour packages offered to foreign visitors between January and September.
