Conservation officials in Indonesia have discovered four fully-grown tigers at a house in Jakarta, the BBC has reported. The big cats may be Sumatran tigers, which number only around 400 in the wild. They were found along with several rare cockatoos and birds of paradise. A conservation officer told the BBC they were looking for the homeowner.
The Indonesian government recently said it was considering a scheme which would allow citizens to buy tigers for US$100,000.
