A South Korean has been ordered to pay KRW2 million (US$1,534) in damages after a freak shot landed his caddy in hospital. News.com.au has reported that the golfer, identified only as “Jung”, wound up a huge swing, but lost his footing and ended up shooting the ball straight at his caddy - who was standing 8m behind him.
The caddy reportedly needed seven weeks of hospital treatment for a stomach injury.
