Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has extended its no fuel surcharge guarantee to cover all bookings made this year for departures from 1 January 2012. The new pledge will ensure that any extra fuel costs will not be charged to customers. “This is great news, both for our guests and for agents, as they can use this positive initiative as a powerful sales tool; the concerns about extra costs being imposed after booking can prove a barrier to people committing their money, especially in these difficult times,” said Lol Nichols, general sales manager at Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines. “Now, Fred. Olsen cruises can be booked with absolute confidence that the price you pay at the time of booking for 2012/13 cruises is the whole price”.
