Emirsyah Satar, President & CEO of Garuda Indonesia, will speak at UBM Aviation’s Aircraft & Engine Finance & Leasing Asia Pacific Conference in February. Satar will give conference delegates insights into the future growth of Garuda Indonesia, discussing the launch of the airline’s US$500 million IPO through the sale of 9.4 billion shares and on how the airline is working to drive growth within the regional aviation industry in 2011. This comes at a critical time for the Indonesian flag carrier as the government plans to go ahead with the IPO in February.
Alongside Satar, senior representatives from BOC Aviation, Bombardier, ICBC, CAPA India, GE Aviation, DVB Bank, TES Aviation, Frost & Sullivan and CAPA Consulting will discuss and debate current issues, focusing specifically on the impact of investment and financial complexities surrounding maintenance and fleet management affecting the Asia Pacific market.
The conference makes its regional debut following similar events in London and New York in 2010.
