Directors of Cambodia’s ‘killing fields’ museums, Tuol Sleng and Chhoeung Ek, have said that the number of tourists visiting the museums has increased this year, the Phnom Penh Post has reported. Chey Sopheara, Director of Tuol Sleng - a former school turned that was into a Khmer Rouge prison, said the museum had 100 visitors on average per day, 60% of whom were foreigners.
“It has increased 10% compared with last year,” he said.
