GHM targets emerging markets
Asia-based luxury hotel and resort management company GHM (General Hotel Management) has extended its marketing network to India, Russia and the CIS.
The addition of India, Russia and the CIS to GHM’s sales and marketing network follows the opening of a Shanghai-based regional office in China last year, and underlines the importance of these emerging source markets to Asia’s luxury hotel sector.
Clement Koh, GHM’s Vice President of Sales & Marketing, said; “GHM recognises the importance of these markets and their potential in terms of ever-increasing numbers of travellers seeking luxury holiday experiences.”
In Russia and the CIS, GHM is represented by Moscow-based agency TOP Signature, while in India, the company has appointed marketing consultancy firm Sartha, which has offices in Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai.
“Sheema Vohra is widely respected in her field, while TOP Signature has established itself as the pre-eminent representative of choice for luxury hotel brands in its markets. We are confident our strategic partnership with both agencies will go a long way in strengthening our brand presence in these highly desirable markets”, said Koh.
The extension of GHM’s marketing network coincides with the rapid expansion of the hospitality brand, which was founded in 1992. Its current portfolio of 11 luxury hotels and resorts is set to expand over the coming years with a number of new openings in China, Egypt, Jordan, Switzerland, Morocco and Malaysia.
