Goa Tourism Minister Nilkanth Halarnkar and others are being investigated by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for their alleged role in a land scam in Colvale.
The ACB was told to file an FIR against the official by the Judicial Magistrate First Class last week.
According to UNI, the land in Colvale was officially acquired under the authority of the Goa Housing Board for a housing project, but the Minister and others instead allotted it to the Halarnkar Charitable Trust which Halarnkar actually runs.
