Goldman Sachs bids for Universal Studios Japan

A group led by Goldman Sachs Group has offered JPY111.2 billion (US$1.2 billion) for USJ Co., the operator of the Universal Studios Japan theme park.
Bloomberg reported that Goldman’s bid will see it own a 61.2% stake of Osaka-based USJ.
