Hyatt has opened a new hotel in the northeast Chinese city of Shenyang.
The new Grand Hyatt Shenyang occupies a newly-built 29-storey tower in the capital of Liaoning province. The property’s 353 rooms start from 42m² and all feature city views through floor-to-ceiling windows, along with free Wi-Fi, 46-inch LED TVs and large marble bathrooms. The hotel also features 34 suites, ranging from 84 to 252m², along with a series of Grand Club rooms with access to a 23rd floor lounge.
“The opening of Grand Hyatt Shenyang expands our brand presence in China and supports our development strategy of building in key gateway cities and markets where our guests are travelling,” said Christopher Koehler, Hyatt’s vice president of operations for China.
“By combining modernity and residential comfort with our distinctive world-class facilities and services, we believe that our newest addition to the Grand Hyatt portfolio will help redefine the standard for hotels in Shenyang.”
The hotel features eight F&B outlets including three Chinese restaurants, an Italian steakhouse and a 29th floor bar with a live house band.
Leisure facilities include a spa with six treatment suites, a fitness centre and indoor swimming pool, while the hotel also includes more than 3,400m² of meeting and event space, including a 1,022m² Grand Ballroom.
Grand Hyatt Shenyang becomes the 21st Hyatt in China, and the first in Shenyang.
