Grounded Taiwanese carrier may fly again

Taiwan’s Civil Aeronautics Administration (CAA) has confirmed that Far Eastern Air Transport Corp (FEAT) has submitted a proposal to return to the skies. According to a Taiwan News report, the carrier it will repair and maintain three aircraft in an effort to relaunch two domestic routes between Taipei and Kinmen Island and the Penghu Islands. The return is planned for late September 2010. FEAT suspended all its flights in May 2008 due to financial troubles.
