Gulf Air Signs preliminary agreement to lease two EMBRAER 170 jets

Gulf Air, the National Carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, today signed a preliminary agreement with Embraer, to lease two EMBRAER 170 Advanced Range (AR) jets. The preliminary agreement, signed at the first Bahrain International Air Show, is based on a three year dry lease of the two aircraft with provision to extend for a further five years.Gulf Air Chief Executive Mr. Samer Majali said: “As Gulf Air takes another step forward in its new strategic direction, I am delighted to have been able to complete the first stage of this important deal here today at the Kingdom of Bahrain’s first International Air Show.
