Gulf Air, Bahrain’s national carrier, plans to replace the five A340s with Boeing 777s, Gulf News reported. The announcement was made by the airline’s CEO, Bjorn Naf, at a press conference in London. Naf reportedly added that Gulf Air intends to take delivery of four Airbus A330 and five A320 jets this year.
