In recognition of its culinary standards and effective management of food safety risks, Coral Beach Resort Sharjah recently achieved the HACCP certification.
Haytham Aziz, hotel manager, Coral Beach Resort Sharjah, said: “The Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) is recognized worldwide as critical to a hotel’s compliance. This would not have been possible without hard-work put in by our team.”
The assessment for HACCP was carried out by BSI Management Systems in two stages. During the first phase, the organisation ensured necessary HACCP procedures and controls had been developed. Once all requirements were in place, inspectors from BSI assessed implementation of procedures and controls within the hotel to make sure that they are working effectively as required for certification.
