Hard Rock International has unveiled plans to launch its first hotel in the Chinese city of Dalian.
The Hard Rock Hotel Dalian is currently under development in a seafront location on the city’s Golden Beach, and is scheduled to open in 2018.
It will offer 200 rooms, multiple F&B outlets, a nightclub, kids’ club, spa and fitness centre. Prior to the hotel’s launch, a new Hard Rock Hotels Preview Center will open in spring 2016, showcasing music memorabilia from Hard Rock’s collection and showing guests what they can expect from the new hotel.
“With the Chinese travel industry quickly changing as leisure demand grows, we feel the music-centric programming at Hard Rock Hotels will resonate well with Chinese travellers who visit Dalian each year,” said Leong Wy Joon, Hard Rock International’s senior vice president of hotel development for Asia & India.
Hard Rock Hotel Dalian will be the brand’s third property in mainland China, with other projects currently underway in Shenzhen and Haikou.
