HCMC targets 2.8 million arrivals

Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) hopes to welcome 2.8 million foreign visitors in 2010 after posting a decline in arrivals this year. According to a Thanh Nien News report international arrivals to the city in 2009 were estimated at 2.6 million, lower than the 3.1 million. Overall arrivals to Vietnam in the first 11 months were down 12.3%, the report added.
