HCMC to develop four new ‘city centres’

Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) is developing a new urban plan that will involve the development of four new ‘city centres’, Thanh Nien News has reported. The four new socio-commercial hubs will be in District 9, Nha Be, Binh Chanh and Hoc Mon districts, while six urban new districts will also be developed. The plan, designed for completion by 2025, will also involve the development of roads, railways, tramways and monorails to ease traffic congestion.
