Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority is to create a heritage village on its WTM stand this year to show visitors what the destination is like. Delegates will be able to tour a photograph gallery of the destination’s heritage; get a henna tattoo and have their photograph taken with a Shaheen falcon. “We want to engage visitors as well as inform them,” said ADTA International Promotions Manager Mubarak Al Nuaimi. “The aim is to give visitors a taste of the heritage experience that is still very much alive in modern day Abu Dhabi.” A range of hotels, resorts, transport providers, attractions and tour operators are sharing the stand to display their offering.
