Hilton launches new Tuscan property

Hilton Worldwide has announced it will launch a new Doubletree by Hilton property in Tuscany, Italy. The hotel, to be named Doubletree by Hilton Resort Siena - Chianti, is due to open in spring 2011 and will have 97 rooms. It will also have two restaurants, a bar, a spa facility with indoor swimming pool, fitness centre, outdoor pool and meeting space. “The company has grown a portfolio of more than twenty hotels which are now either open or under development across the country,” said Hilton Worlwide Senior Vice President Development - Europe and Africa Patrick Fitzgibbon. An additional 23 rooms will be introduced in 2012.
