The property will boast 535 guest-rooms and will be located in urban development centred around Dubai’s Al Maktoum International Airport.

Expected to open in 2019, the property will be targeting those wishing to stay close to the main passenger entrance to the airport.

President, Middle East and Africa for Hilton Worldwide, Rudi Jagersbacher, said across the Middle East and Africa, Hilton Worldwide expects to open an average of one hotel per month over the course of the next few years and “plans to more than double our portfolio here in Dubai”.

Spread over seven floors, the hotel will also boast a large ballroom, eight meeting rooms and six board rooms.

Aside from various F&B options there will be a spa and wellness centre, fitness centre and two swimming pools.

Hilton Hotels & Resorts has more than 550 hotels in its portfolio in 82 countries with 70 hotels operating across the Middle East and Africa and more than 90 hotels currently under development.
