Hilton Worldwide has announced it has signed an agreement to open a hotel in Montenegro. The deal with AD UTIP Crna Gora will see the first Hilton property open in Podgorica following the multi-million euro redevelopment of a historic building in the city. “This latest announcement marks the continued growth of our forward thinking Hilton brand in Europe and we look forward to providing our world class hospitality to guests in Montenegro,” said Hilton Hotel & Resorts Global Head Dave Horton. “With many of our world class brands building their presence in Eastern Europe, this hotel marks our entry into Montenegro and we believe will be a successful addition to our European portfolio,” added Hilton’s Senior Vice President of Development in Europe and Africa Patrick Fitzgibbon. The 200-guest hotel will include a spa, restaurant, bar, bistro, ballroom, retail centre and casino.
