Two Hong Kong Airlines pilots have been fired for trying to take off from a taxiway Bloomberg has cited a Sunday Morning Post report as saying. The Boeing 737 carrying 122 passengers was speeding along the taxiway on 13 September and only aborted takeoff after being alerted by an air traffic controller at Hong Kong’s Chek Lap Kok airport, the report said.
