The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) has announced that total arrivals for 2008 reached 29.5 million, representing an increase of 4.7% compared with 2007. Mainland China maintained strong 8.8% growth, and continued to be the leading source market with 16.6 million (or 55% of total) arrivals.
