Hogan to keynote GTMC conference in Abu Dhabi

The UK Guild of Travel Management Companies (GTMC) chief executive Anne Godfrey has confirmed that Etihad Airways CEO James Hogan will be the keynote speaker at the organisation’s annual overseas conference being held in Abu Dhabi from 13 – 15 May.Godfrey said: “We are exceedingly fortunate that James Hogan is available to deliver the keynote speech at this year’s GTMC conference in Abu Dhabi. James is well known to most of our members through his past career in the UK – with Hertz, bmi and Forte Hotels – and for the past six years he has overseen the phenomenal growth of Etihad Airways. In addition James has a reputation for being one of the best speakers in the travel industry.”The GTMC annual overseas conference is easily the most prestigious travel conference on the calendar. Attendees include the senior executives from our member travel management companies.”The 2011 GTMC conference will be staged at the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr Hotel Abu Dhabi, with Etihad Airways as the partner airline.
