The company unveiled the new concept last month, promising “full-service lifestyle” hotels catered towards “modern explorers”. And now, Hyatt has confirmed that it will launch its first two Hyatt Centric hotels in Chicago and Miami.
The 257-room Hyatt Centric The Loop Chicago will be located in historic building and will offer a French bistro, bakery and rooftop bar, among other facilities. Hyatt Centric South Beach Miami meanwhile, will offer 105 rooms in a 10-storey glass tower, plus a Mediterranean restaurant and beach service.
“These hotels will deliver on everything Hyatt Centric is meant to be, and we are excited that guests will be able to see and feel the brand,” said Kristine Rose, Hyatt’s vice president of brands. “By working with owners to test and perfect the Hyatt Centric experience in real hotels in real time, we were able to strategically build the brand.
“Now, with two hotels opening soon, we are confident that we will be able to fulfil today’s savvy travellers’ needs for an uncomplicated, cosmopolitan experience in a way that has never been done before,” she added.
Standard amenities at Hyatt Centric hotels will include free Wi-Fi, Bluetooth-enabled TV systems and a “knock n’ grab” room service system, which negates the need for formal food delivery. They will also feature artworks, furniture and F&B designed to reflect the style of the destination.
