Online accommodation guide and booking service, i-escape.com has undergone a revamp. There are a host of new features which include an intelligent search facility and transparent pricing structures now available for online accommodation bookings. The site was launched in 2001 and the new changes are designed to help make it easier to plan and research a holiday.Founder Nikki Tinto explained: “This is just the first phase of the new developments we have been working on. We wanted to create a seamless booking engine that could deal with quirky properties (from rice boats to holiday homes to boutique hotels) and quirky requests (from extra beds to children’s rooms) with equal ease, as well as designing a search function which harnesses the expertise of our reviewing team.”Bigger pictures, interactive maps, and a constantly updated selection of special offers (which you can search according to when and where you want to travel) are other new features of the revamped site. What has not changed is the core offering of i-escape – a highly selective, handpicked portfolio of places all described with an honesty and level of detail that have set it apart since launch - plus user reviews (submitted only by guests who have booked and stayed through i-escape) and the ability to have direct dialogue with the hotel while booking, a feature still unique to i-escape.”Over the next six months the site will evolve further, with more in-depth kids pages being added, news features as well as a move to instant bookings and a clutch of new destination collections including Jamaica, Egypt and Syria,” added Tinto.
