IAPCO brings its flagship EDGE programme to New Zealand

The event will be held in March at the New Zealand International Convention Centre

The International Association of Professional Congress Organisers (IAPCO) announced that it is bringing its flagship EDGE education programme to Auckland from 16th to 19th March.

IAPCO EDGE is an immersive, masterclass-style training programme specifically developed for Professional Conference Organisers (PCOs) and business events professionals from around the world.

The event will be staged at the soon-to-be-opened New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC).

IAPCO Training Academy chair Stephen Noble commented that EDGE represents the pinnacle of professional education for conference organisers.

According to Noble: “We are very proud to bring EDGE back to Auckland, where it all started a decade ago. Over ten very successful years, this masterclass-style EDGE seminar has become the very best education available for those who work in and around conferences. EDGE gives PCOs and business events professionals the opportunity to take their education to the next level: challenging thinking, sharing knowledge and strengthening the capabilities that underpin quality, confidence and excellence in conference delivery.

High-impact learning

The first IAPCO EDGE Seminar was held in Auckland 10 years ago, and the Association aims to celebrate this significant milestone of its acclaimed education programme with a year-long celebration.

Keeping that in mind, IAPCO EDGE Auckland will deliver a high-impact educational experience designed to elevate professional standards, sharpen strategic thinking, and equip PCOs and event organisers with the skills required to thrive in an increasingly complex global meetings environment.

Purpose-built for IAPCO members, conference organisers who work in-house, or for associations, and business events professionals that work alongside PCOs, EDGE is not a traditional workshop.

Instead, it is an intensive, highly interactive programme focused on real-world challenges, peer-to-peer exchange, and future-focused thinking, all delivered by industry leaders and experts.

With places strictly limited, demand is expected to be high for what is widely regarded as one of the meeting industry’s most valuable professional development opportunities.
