Iberia sees 90% profit drop

Spanish national carrier, Iberia, has seen its annual net profit plummet 90% to EUR32 million (US$41 million), the BBC reported.
The effects of the global economic downturn, combined with soaring jet fuel prices and a new high-speed train service between Madrid and Barcelona have been blamed for the performance.
