Accor’s economy ibis brand has introduced two more properties into the key Thailand markets of Bangkok and Koh Samui.
Already open in Bangkok, the 213-room ibis Sathorn is located close to the Sathorn and Silom business districts and shopping areas such as the Patpong and Suan Lum night markets.
Meanwhile the 260-rooms ibis Bophut on Koh Samui will open on 1 October. Located on the beachfront of Bophut Bay, it is situated close to the fisherman’s village and the nearby monkey theatre.
“The ibis Sathorn and the ibis Bophut have elevated the standards of economy hotels in Bangkok and Samui,’ said Erwann Mahe, Executive General Manager of ibis Erawan Thailand. “Quality is the central value of the ibis brand and both hotels have beautifully embraced it.”
