Ice Land Water Park in RAK, UAE has entered the Guinness World Records as part of the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson.
The park hosted 200 children aged between 1-14 years who joined tens of thousands of kids over 700 locations across five continents to highlight the dangers of childhood drowning.
Santokh Chawla, managing director, Ice Land Water Park, said swimming is a “life-saving skill for children and a vital tool to prevent drowning”.
“Research shows if a child doesn’t learn to swim by the third grade, they likely never will,” he continued.
“It is a matter of pride and honour to host ‘The World’s Largest Swimming Lesson’ in Ras Al Khaimah and to enter the Guinness World Record.”
