IHTTRC set for first edition

The Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology New Delhi is collaborating with the Waikato University in New Zealand, to organise the first International Hotel, Travel & Tourism Research Conference (IHTTRC) from 19-22 January, in New Delhi.
S K Misra, former Tourism Secretary and former Principal Secretary to Prime Minster of India will inaugurate the conference while the guest of honour will be M D Kapoor, Secretary General of the Federation of the Hotel and Restaurant Association of India. Yole Mansfeld, of Universioty of Haifia, Israel, will give the keynote address on ‘Managing Travel Risk Perspective; A knowledge management based solution.
The conference will profile current and emerging trends, challenges and issues that are being faced by India’s hospitality and tourism operators in a high- growth business environment. Papers will be selected to develop a particular theme in each conference session. The programme will include workshops and other industry related forums as well as formal presentations.
