Travel technology firm Illusions Online has signed a major new partnership with Sydney-based DMC Across Australia.
The agreement, which marks Illusions’ debut Down Under, will see Across Australia adopt the new Enterprise solution. This will automate most aspects of the DMC’s business while also providing a B2B booking engine to allow the company to make its inbound travel services bookable online.
“This partnership will combine Across Australia’s creativity with Illusions’ cutting-edge technology, providing our B2B clients with the very best of both worlds – tailor-made packages that are instantly bookable online day and night,” said Sébastien Cros, managing director of the DMC’s parent company, Groupe Across.
Across Australia specialises in upmarket and off-the-beaten track travel. Illusions’ Enterprise solution will enable it to centralise all product management, contracting, client profiles, tariff rules and notifications, client and supplier documentation, accounts, invoicing and planning modules in one place, as well as providing it with B2B booking engines.
And Cros said he had high hopes for the new technology.
“I expect business to increase by 30% or 40% when the system goes live in September and by 100% by this time next year,” he predicted.
“We currently focus on generating business from the French market, but having showed project managers from all over the world what we can offer them through this new technology, there is potential to widen our scope in the European market and also break into the US, the Middle East and Asia.”
Illusions’ CEO Faisal Memon said the Enterprise solution had the potential to transform Across Australia “into a major global player”.
“This is not only made possible through our B2B engine… but through our brand new distribution portal, the Illusions World Travel eXchange (iWTX), which will also make the DMC’s entire product range available to fellow Illusions customers,” he revealed.
Illusions and Across Australia said the deal marks the start of a “long-term partnership”.
