India TOs join forces with Italy

In an innovative initiative, major Indian tour operators have come together to market Italy in India, in collaboration with the Italian Consulate General and the Italian state Tourist Board’s (ENIT) representative in India, Salvatore Ianniello.
Anil Mathur reports that the Indian Tourism Operators Council of Italy (ITOCI) has been formed as a non-profit organisation, aiming to create a strong alliance to help promote Italy in India . ENIT is already one of the most active national tourism bodies in India , regularly organising special tours and activities.
Among the top players involved with the ITOCI are Cox & Kings, Ezeego1 Travels & Tours, Kesari Tours, Kuoni Travel Group India , Mercury Travels and Thomas Cook.
