Fifteen people were killed Monday morning when an inter-city express train crashed into a goods train in India’s Madhya Pradesh state. A further 50 people were injured in the collision, which occurred at Badarwas station, about 260km north of Bhopal. The accident is the latest in a series of fatal crashes on the Indian rail network this year. In July two passenger trains collided in West Bengal, killing 60 people.
