Indian Minister demands Haj flight

The Chief Minister of India’s Madhya Pradesh region, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, has demanded a direct flight from Bhopal to Jeddah be introduced to cater for demand Haj pilgrims to Makkah, the Economic Times has reported. Chouchan made the demand in a letter to India’s Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel. Haj services from Indore to Jeddah will start in 2009.
